My Background
Although I was born in New York City, I grew up in Pomona, NY - a suburb about 30 miles NW of The City (that's NY, for you non-natives). I graduated from Ramapo Senior High School in 1982 and then went to MIT in Cambridge, MA, where I graduated with two B.S. degrees (one in 1986, the second in 1987). I went to work for Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting formerly known as Arthur Andersen) in New York immediately upon graduation. In 1988, I was assigned to a project in Chicago; I transferred there in 1991. I married Kim Lorr in 1995. We moved down to Orlando, FL for another assignment in December 1996. One month later, Joseph Patrick Corless, the inspiration for this web site, was born. His lovely brother, Thomas William, joined us in early 1999. We moved back to Chicago (actually Park Ridge, IL) in August 1999. In January of 2001, we purchased a lot in South Barrington, IL in order to custom build a house because we were expecting the arrival of Kelly Marie, in July 2001. We moved into the new house in August of 2003. In Septebmer, 2004, Jacqueline Lee joined or family. I think we're done :)

My Interests
My biggest interest (outside of the family) is sports. Playing, watching, following, you name it. Football and college basketball are my favorite sports to watch on TV. My current Sports Illustrated subscription expires in May 2015. I played football at MIT (yes, they have a football team) and held the school record for longest TD reception (86 yards). I once turned down an assignment in Australia because you couldn't get ESPN in the southern hemisphere.
I also collect classic arcade video games (buy them on ebay or when superauctions hit your town). I own a Stargate, Joust, Star Wars, Robotron, Donkey Kong, Crystal Castles, Asteroids and Battlezone (Finally, here is the video game page click here ). Lastly, I go through periods of playing online multiplayer games introduced to me by Miker. And of course, my children, Joey, Tommy, Kelly and Jackie are the light of my life.

My Work
I'm a Senior Executive at Accenture in our internal IT organization. After 19 years in consulting, it has been a nice change of pace moving into our internal function and not have to get on an airplane every week. I have had the opportunity to work at a number of world class companies as a consultant such as Best Buy, The Home Depot, Meijer, ToysRUs.com, FedEx, Walgreens, Northern Trust, Quaker Oats, Sears, Lillian Vernon , and IBM.

Are you ready for some football? I run a few fantasy football leagues that we used to host at NFFL.COM However, in 1999 we switched to running the leagues at commissioner.com. I've retained the NFFL.COM domain to post some of our historical information. That domain is for sale.
